Joint Industry Board Grading (JIB)

The Joint Industry Board (JIB) acts to create smooth workings and relations within the electrical contracting industry. A minimum requirement of training and qualifications are required to be graded by the JIB (see below).

The JIB also aims to act within the public interest as well as for those of the professional electrical contractors by helping to create a working environment which stimulates and encourages further improvements and progress within the profession.

This is achieved partly through the regulation and control of employment and productive capacity within the electrical contractor industry and by establishing requirements and expectations for levels of skill and proficiency.

The JIB also encourages further education and development for individuals.

Our commercial and domestic clients can be assured that R Brampton Ltd regard the relationships with, well-being and safety of employees, clients and site visitors as being of the utmost importance. Our business aims to act with fairness, integrity and professionalism in every regard.
